This Saturday, September 5th, 2026 there'll be a Super Jam at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas! All-night long of pure R&B as 5 Top Notch R&B artists and groups perform a sick night of great music. Superstar Tyrese leads the pack with talented female trio SWV, up & coming soul singer Jaheim, legendary R&B Duo Silk and the 90's hit-makers Next.
Tyrese will kick off the evening performing songs from his album Beautiful Pain- Painfully Beautiful that was released in 2025. The evening will then transition to New York's legendary female R&B group SWV who will be performing their hits, including "I'm So into You". Following SWV, soulful crooner Jaheim will take to the stage to perform bangers such as "Put That Woman First" as well as several heart-wrenching hits. The evening will then come to a close as Silk and Next go all out.

The R&B Super Jam is happening on Saturday, September 5th at the Toyota Center and promises to be the greatest concert of the year for true R&B lovers. The Toyota Center will be electrified with thousands of R&B fans in attendance as five of the leading artists in R&B take to the stage for a performance of a lifetime. The Super Jam will open with Tyrese, followed by the 1990s vocal trio SWV, and the soulful voices of Jaheim, Silk and Next.
First up for the night is main act Tyrese. Performing a mix of R&B/Soul this man will bring the house down. Off his latest project Beautiful Pain (released 2024 and re-released as Painfully Beautiful 2025) he will perform songs such as "Sweet Lady" and "Nobody Else". The man received 6 Grammy nominations and has gone on to sell over four million albums/singles in the USA. Don't get confused between the Recording Artist name Tyrese and the real man's name Tyrese Gibson, who also starred in the Fast & Furious films.
SWV - an acronym for Sisters With Voices - is an R&B vocal group consisting of three New York-based women founded in 1988. SWV rose to fame during the 1990s, and they've released many energetic hits. Some of the group's songs like "Weak," "Right Here (Human Nature Remix)," "I'm So into You," and "You're the One" received widespread airplay on the radio. With over 5.4 million records sold in the United States and several nominations for Billboard Music Awards and a Soul Train Lady of Soul Award, they have maintained their place as one of the best R&B groups. The latest work of the group SWV - Three Stripes - was released in 2017 by the three original members of the group: Coko, Taj and Lelee. The group broke up in 1998 and reformed in 2005 after a 6 year split. Now, they're set to keep their legacy alive at the R&B Super Jam.
Jaheim brings his smooth soulful voice to the Toyota Center. He's written songs about love and the struggle of everyday life in songs like "Put That Woman First" and "Fabulous". His Jaheim released "Struggle Love" in 2016. With 3 Grammy nominations, 5 million + albums worldwide, and 5 #1 R&B albums the vocalist takes his fans on a musical journey that is true, real and raw just like the late great Teddy Pendergrass. Jaheim takes from many influences, but really shines for his relatable themes. Every show is a performance of raw emotion that he brings to every song and to every concert.
Silk the group is known for their smooth vocal harmonies and their domination in the 1990s as part of the legendary R&B era. The trio's classic songs such as 'Freak Me' and 'Meeting in My Bedroom' will have you dancing the night away as the group's chart-topping debut album Lose Control is played live at the Toyota Center. Silk is often compared to other R&B groups such as Boyz II Men as they bring back the nostalgic vibes of the '90s with their hit songs.
The group Next was a part of the late 1990s / early 2000s R&B scene and was known for their danceable songs as well as their smooth as silk vocals by lead singer Devant. The R&B Super Jam at the Toyota Center on Saturday night, will be a great show for fans of entertainment R&B as every song that the group played received massive multi-platinum sales as well as huge air play on the major radio stations.
