On Wednesday, 21st June 2023, Drake and 21 Savage will light up the Toyota Center for the first night and deliver massive hits, fan favorites, and songs from their latest albums. Hip-hop megastar Drake is regarded as one of the world’s best-selling artists. He has sold over 170 million records worldwide and is recorded as the U.S.’s highest-certified digital singles music artist. Emerging from Toronto, Canada, in 2001, Drake has released seven number 1 studio albums and four number 1 mixtape. He has dropped 19 number-1 singles, most of which have earned multi-platinum status in various countries, including the U.S. Drake’s two-decade career has earned him numerous accolades, including five Grammy Awards, 34 Billboard Music Awards, six American Music Awards, three Juno Awards, and two Brit Awards. Last year, Drake released his latest effort, Honestly, Nevermind, which debuted at number 1 on the Billboard 200, Top Dance/Electronic, and Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts.
Drake will be joined by the co-headliner 21 Savage. The duo had a long history of friendship and music collaborations. The rapper performed in Drake’s 2016 single, “Sneakin,” which later led to a record deal with Epic Records. 21 Savage also earned a stellar reputation as an artist thanks to his phenomenal mix tapes and highly-acclaimed EP, Savage Mode. Last year, 21 Savage released a collaborative album with Drake titled Her Loss. The album debuted at number 1 on the Billboard 200 and spawned the commercially successful single “Circo Loco.”
